The Hubbards Barn Association (HBA) is looking for individuals to supervise and support events at the Hubbards Barn & Community Park, #57 Hwy 3 Hubbards, between May and October. Events include weddings and other public/private functions. Events take place days and evenings, weekdays and weekends. Event staff are responsible to be on site at the Hubbards Barn & Community Park during scheduled events to ensure the security of the property, aid in general clean up, ensure regulations and Barn rules are enforced during events, closing of the property and general overall success of events.
The ideal candidate(s):
- presents him/herself neatly dressed and groomed
- is courteous and respectful, and contributes to a positive image of the HBA
- able to work with different groups of people at each event
- good conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
- can be assertive yet polite when enforcing liquor license regulations and Barn rules
- is physically fit for cleaning and lifting, and uses time wisely
- has basic fix-it skills, such as the ability to fix a tripped circuit, change a lightbulb, and unclog a toilet
- understands and uses the waste sorting system for Chester municipality
- cell phone to use in case of emergency
- access to a reliable vehicle

Start date: a.s.a.p, $20.00/ hour. Hours vary annually depending on number of events booked.
