A small (but mighty!) band of Barn volunteers have been hard at work to make this happen. Our goal is to provide a safe and well organized market experience for our loyal customers, while strictly adhering to the Covid-19 public health & safety regulations.
Want to help out at the market? We love (and rely) on our volunteers! For more information, email Laura Keeler at email@example.com
For starters, the vendors are carefully spaced out for everyone’s safety. Customers must follow a one-way route that will take them past every vendor outside in the meadow and inside the Barn. There will be a passing lane for shoppers who want to fast-track through. All customers must practice social distancing by staying 6 feet apart, and we require everyone to wear a face mask whenever they are inside the Barn.
Many of our vendors offer a pre-order and pay option, so your custom order will be ready for pick-up at the Market
The Hubbards Farmers’ Market, now in its twentieth-fourth year of operation, is located at the beautiful Hubbards Barn & Community Park in the middle of 6 acres of peaceful woodlands and fields.
We have over 40 local vendors from all points along the South Shore, the Valley and Halifax. Their high quality wares feature delicious fresh toasted bagels, organic fair-trade coffee, fresh vegetables and herbs, berries, jams, jellies, premium spirits, wines, grass-fed beef, lamb, chicken, eggs, fresh and smoked fish, wonderfully aromatic breads, cookies, cakes, pies, sausages and other treats.
Buy fresh flowers for a friend or just for you, perennials, baskets, candles, quilts, bags, jewelry from beads and glass to silver and gold, and wonderful handmade soaps. Watch our revolving tables for new unique local items.
Check out a complete list of our market vendors and how to reach them outside of market hours.
The Market is open from 8am-12pm on Saturdays, starting July 4, 2020 to the end of October.
