The Hubbards Barn Association is a proud partner and one of many beneficiaries of the Bay Treasure Chest (BTC).
THE TOONIE DRAW IS BACK! Now there are two ways to win!
You can play your toonies at your favourite local business. The first draw takes place on Wednesday, August 12. Visit the BTC website for further information on where and how to play your toonies.
The Bay Treasure Chest Association is a fundraising partnership of eight not-for-profit community groups, representing 14 organizations. The 50/50 lottery is now played online and when you buy a ticket for the monthly draw, you are helping support community projects and programs in an area stretching from Beechville, Lakeside and Timberlea, in western Halifax, to Hubbards and part of the Aspotogan Peninsula; from Hammonds Plains and down the Peggy’s Cove Road to Indian Harbour. These programs and services range from coastal conservation and recreational trail management; providing food and other practical assistance as needed to residents; preserving rural community centres and providing post-secondary scholarships.
You will find a full list of all groups who reap the benefits of this incredible fundraiser at the BTC website.
