It is exciting to see the six acres around the Barn take shape. Walking trails now ring the property, and more of these will be added soon.
A path between the Barn property and the new Hubbards Pharmasave now effectively links the Barn to the Aspotogan Heritage Trust and the Aspotogan and St. Margaret’s Bay Trails.
With the arrival of Summer, you may have noticed the work done in the old field/meadow behind the patio. This landscaping is the first step in the redevelopment plan for the site, which will eventually see the construction of community gardens, pathways, and an outdoor event pavilion. This year, we have created an elevated field area with natural groundcover that can be used for community events, games, and other activities.
