Our 2010 summer movie series at the Barn line-up is now finalized!
This great selection of films kicks off with Gunless an atypical western starring Canadian favourite Paul Gross. This is followed by film festival sensation The Trotsky – if you missed it as the finale to last year’s Atlantic Film Festival – here is your chance. Next up is Cairo Time, by Rubby Nada winner of Best Canadian Feature at the 2009 Toronto International Film Festival.
Our fourth week sees the return of our popular Summer Shorts Mini Festival – a chance to catch some of the world’s best short films alongside up and coming local works.
We are then showing two 2010 Academy Award nominated documentaries, starting with the award winner – The Cove. This is followed in early September by Food Inc. Both these movies may change the way you see the world around you and your role in it.
We finish the season on a lighter note with the off-beat heist film High Life.
